friends. Our thanks to Ken Stohlmann for
the success of this tournament.
The new programs director, Tom Mayer, is providing us with great speakers at monthly dinner meetings. They have been some of the best we’ve had. There is always something to learn or be aware of in our industry. We’ve had increase in attendance pushing 40% of the membership, way to go. Thank you all. Don’t forget that our next meeting the topic will be certification presented by Ron York and there are some changes. The November meeting is a joint dinner meeting with ASA with a topic of BIM (Building Information Modeling). This is a new tool used by the architecture, engineering and construction industry and something that will affect this industry greatly. Please mark your calendars for the second Tuesday of each month for our dinner meetings.

Text Box: Hello to Chapter 6 members.
We have new faces on the board and some previous board members this year. I think the membership is well represented by this board. We have some new ideas and fresh energy that I look forward to participating in. There is a list of all of the board members included in this newsletter and on the web site. If you need information, have an idea, want to volunteer or know of a speaker you might think the membership would like to hear please contact me or anyone on the board. We are here to represent you and we want to here from you.
The annual convention in Park City was again a great hit. Those of you that attended had a great time, don’t worry what happens in Park City, stays in Park City. The entertainment this year was wonderful and the educational opportunities were abundant. The Estimating Academy is a great place to refresh your skills or learn new skills. I hope that Chapter 6 will be well represented in Baltimore next year.
Our 18th Annual Dave Clifton Scholarship Memorial Golf Tournament was a resounding success. We all had a great time, even those of us like me that don’t play well. There was a good turn out, around 138 participants. The giveaways were cool and the raffle prizes were the best, I had my eye on some of the golf clubs and the TV. This is a great time to network with ASPE members and Text Box: Volume 1, Issue 72
