His research and teaching interests include organizational change, front end planning, asset management, alternative dispute resolution and risk management and he has received several awards for research excellence.  He has been active on many national committees, among them a National Research Council committee investigating project management practices at the U.S. Department of Energy, the Architectural Engineering Institute, and also served as a Fulbright Senior Specialist in Norway in Fall 2004.

The project is the largest commercial solar rooftop system in Arizona and the second largest in U.S.  It is expected to produce more than 4 million kilowatt hours per year and will offset 3,900 tons of carbon dioxide each year.
